T20 World Cup 2026 Venues Revealed — India & Sri Lanka Set the Stage

The ICC has announced the official 2026 Men’s T20 World Cup venues which will feature matches in several main cities of India and Sri Lanka.

  • Eden Gardens, Kolkata
  • MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai
  • Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad
  • Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai

🏟️ Venues in Sri Lanka

  • Pallekele International Stadium, Kandy
  • R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo
  • Sinhalese Sports Club, Colombo

The event, which takes place from 7 February to 8 March 2026, will see the top 20 teams in action as they compete for cricket’s ultimate T20 prize.

All the Pakistan games will be played in Sri Lanka, at Colombo or Kandy.

India’s Super Eight fixtures will be in Ahmedabad, Chennai and Kolkata.

If Indis makes it to the semi-final, Mumbai will host.

🏆 Semi-Finals & Final

  • Second semi-final: Colombo or Kolkata, depending on whether Sri Lanka or Pakistan reach the semis.
  • Final: Scheduled for Ahmedabad, unless Pakistan gets to the final — in which case it will probably be shifted to Colombo.

A joint hosting deal is being pursued to regulate crowd pressure and security issues, as well as local participation in what is one of cricket’s largest global events.
