FIA goes digital FIA has declared that from now on it will issue attendance notices to suspects and involved persons in digital form, so that no falsified documentation can be breached.
The public notice says the FIA would no longer issue notices manually signed.
All the notices of Section 160 under CrPC will henceforth be served only through e-system of the agency.
A special QR code will be printed in each notice which can be scanned through the mobile app to verify the authenticity of the document.
If you receive any such notice in different format, particularly one which request payments of fine on urgent basis, do treat it as “Not Genuine” & Report at complaints@fia.gov.pk.”
Officials said the new system would make communication more transparent, secure and less susceptible to fraud.
