Pakistan Navy successfully test fires locally developed Ship launched Anti-Ship Missile,Thereby reaffirming Pakistan’s ability to ensure a secured maritime defence.The indigenously built Anti-ship missile will add strength to the defence in the arena of naval warfare.
The missile could hit a sea-based and ground target with great precision, officials said. With its current guidance system and maneuvering capabilities, the weapon is a major addition to the Navy’s expanding arsenal.
The Censor defense was panoramic view at the Poorna Test Range of CGDR and the test was attended by Chief of Naval Staff along with Senior scientists and officials of DRDO during day 3.
The authorities lauded it as ironclad evidence of the expanding technological prowess of Pakistan and Navy’s resolve to safeguard national security.
The President, Prime Minister, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and all Services Chiefs have congratulated the involved teams on achieving this significant milestone.
