SNGPL Reports Second Highest Profit in its History Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has declared its second largest profit of the company at the 61st Annual General Meeting (AGM) which took place in Lahore.
On the annual financial report of FY 2024-25:
SNGPL’s Profit Highlights
- Profit before tax : 24.44 billion rupees
- Net profit: Rs. 14.59 billion
- Earnings per share (EPS): Rs. 23.01
The shareholders had also approved a 30 percent cash dividend, or Rs. 3 per share, for the fiscal year.
Focus on Reducing Gas Losses
UFG (Unaccounted-for gas) losses have decreased significantly during the year and this is an important accomplishment.
UFG was down from 31,317 MMCF to 30,026 MMCF
This improvement came from:
- Better surveillance in high-risk areas
- Rapid leak detection
- Stronger monitoring systems
- TBS-based micromanagement
- Upgraded measurement infrastructure
Other Updates From the AGM
- M/s A.F. Ferguson & Co. were reappointed as external auditor for FY 2025–26.
- Shareholders engaged in a full question-and-answer period and all the questions were answered by Management personnel.
It was presided over by Ismail Qureshi, the entire board of directors and senior management, along with a number of its members attended the proceedings physically as well as through video link.
